Ivona Záborská is a non-professional artist living and creating in the Domov Kamélie Křižanov. Ivona is an artist with disabilities. She has long been dedicated to painting and drawing fantasy figures. In the author‘s paintings, we find metaphors for her life experiences and for the situations of the world she lives in. Creation is her inner need and it sparkles with her creativity, poetry, and imagination. The expressiveness of colours and a characteristic existential symbolism define her work. Its themes and their expression can be assigned to the Outsider Art and Art Brut movements.
