stažený soubor

Her volunteer activities in Slezská Diakonie were Tereza’s first experience with the creative art of people with differentness. As part of the project “Family is one of the Inescapable Conditions of Happiness”, she used art therapy elements in art work with children with disabilities. She has been working with the Open Art Studio for a long time, where she is an instructor. She also participates in putting on exhibitions for the studio. In the Open Art Studio she applies her knowledge from her degree in Special Art Education. She is now a PhD student at the Department of Art Education at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno. Her specialisation is including work with new media in the creations of people with differentness (specifically photography) and offering them a greater possibility of self-expression. At the same time she is engaged in art activities for preschool children with hearing impairments.

More information about her work at Masaryk University can be found here.
